Hit Girl vs Natasha Romanoff. Who Will Win?

I watched both kickass and ironman 2 today. Guess what? Both the main characters didn’t appeal to me much at all. Sure Robert Downey Jr was charming as hell but that’s it. Scarlett Johansson for me stole the show with her moves and of cos.. her hot bod ! Ironman 2’s storyline wasn’t that well told and at some parts it became quite predictable thanks to all the trailers.. In fact i was struggling a little through the movie and became quite restless.. That’s a bad sign for a super hero movies ain’t it? I think what ironman lacks is a real bad ass super villain that can make an impact. The only saving grace was the comic relief and marvel’s huge build up to the avengers. This time round, the clues were popping up everywhere! Stay to the very end to catch a glimps of Thor’s hammer !

As for kickass.. the 11 year old foul mouth hit girl played by Chloe Moretz (500 days of summer) reminded me very much of Oren Ishii of Killbill vol. 1. She was the one who actually kicked some ass in the entire movie ! The much talked about show seem to gather a huge following and was rated 8.4 on imdb.. 8.4? Come on i think that’s a little bit over rated don’t you think? And Shutter Island got 8.1? Can you believe kickass won over a Scorsese’s classic?

After watching this 2 shows today. Agnes and I could only conclude that there was very much of Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction elements in both the movies. If you are a fan of these two tarantino classics then look out for the hit girl’s last fight scene when hit girl dressed as a school girl. There was even a samurai sword along with all that gore ! Now isn’t that so killbill? Now what about Ironman 2? The scene where nick fury spoke to tony stark in the diner.. Doesn’t that remind you of Jule winnfield’s diner scene in pulp fiction? To top everything else both characters were played by the same actor Samuel L Jackson !

Can this be a sign from the movie gods that Killbill vol 3 which was rumored to be coming out on 2012 as a 10th year anniversary thingy..

I sure do hope so..
