Singaporeans are a forgetful and forgiving bunch. Give him time. 1 year to 2 years… and everyone will ‘forgive’ and ‘forget’. His new movie will be about fidelity and family values, and how it is the foundation of everything. That’s the ‘lesson’ of the movie as well as the selling point of it. Mark my words. It’s going to be EXACTLY like that.
I think Becky said it best. It’s not even whether he is hum sup or not. The main difference as Becky (and coincidentally my friend) pointed out, is that Tiger Woods had sex with consensual adults. The women he slept with were not promised fame and fortune. Jack Neo, on the other hand (if Foyce’s confessions were true) was telling YOUNG girls that he will make them into the “next Fann Wong”. Now, that is a MAJOR DIFFERENCE!

First of all, i think as christians you guys should let the matter rest and forgive cause that’s what the bible preaches. Leave the judgment to God.
However as a free thinker, i don’t really have set of rules to follow so here are my views on this whole Jack Neo saga. First of all, i have never been a fan of Jack Neo or his movies. Sure “I Not Stupid” sent out a great message towards the education system in Singapore but I still prefer Eric Khoo movies any other day. Well that’s besides the point. lol

Firstly, some singaporeans are making a big hooha over him chasing girls as young as 18 years of age (at least its the legal age). I think chasing someone much younger isn’t really the issue here. Everyone is naturally attracted to beauty. Be it a 50 year old guy or lady (cougar). It’s whether you dare to make an attempt to chase someone of such age that sets you apart from Jack Neo. If the girl is mutual to it, i don’t see anything wrong with someone who is much older dating someone twice his age. However, the main problem here is that he ihad an affair. Nothing else really matters after that cause no matter how much you debate, he still had an affair.
There will always be guys around bluffing girls into having sex with them. Just like how girls use their flirtatious ways to get what they want from us guys. So what Jack did was just another way of bedding the girl he wanted to sleep with. There are worst cases out there not in the news but Jack is a celebrity and that’s what you get for being famous. So all the attention is ten fold. However, in every situation it always takes two hands to clap. The devil offered you an easy way out, in every situation that happens there is always a choice given. So shame on you if you were gullible enough to take up the offer. Pat yourself on the back if you kept your morals in tag.
Lastly, if Jack Neo wants to make a movie about this whole affair. To me, it’s a great business move. I’m sure no matter how much you detests whats going on now, singaporeans will still flock to the cinema to satisfy their curiosity in the future. So guess who is cashing in after all?
Btw i think Jacks a coward. Face your own problems. Solve it your own. Don’t get your wife to cover it up for you. Don’t get George Yeo to say a word or two for you and for fuck sake don’t bring religion leaders or religion in. You dug yourself a grave so deep, good luck in getting out of it Jack
